Let’s talk self care:In a world where hustling and stress are a part of our daily life, taking time for self-care is crucial for maintaining mental, emotional, and physical health. Here are some helpful tips to help you prioritize self-care and create a healthier, more balanced life.

🫧Establish a Routine🫧  

Creating a daily routine provides structure and stability, making it easier to incorporate self-care activities. Schedule time for activities you enjoy, whether it's reading, exercising, or my favorite  taking a quiet moment for yourself soaking in a bubble bath.

🫧Stay Hydrated and Eat Well🫧


Proper nutrition is a cornerstone of self-care. Stay hydrated by drinking enough water, and fuel your body with a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Nourishing your body contributes to overall well-being.

🫧Prioritize Sleep🫧  

Quality sleep is essential for physical and mental health. Establish a relaxing bedtime routine, limit screen time before sleep, and ensure you get the recommended amount of rest each night. Rest is when your body heals so I am a strong advocate for beauty sleep!

🫧Connect with Loved Ones🫧 


Let’s put down the phone and call grandma. Spend time with friends and family, whether in person or virtually. Meaningful relationships provide support and contribute to a sense of belonging.

🫧Engage in Physical Activity🫧

Regular exercise is a powerful way to boost mood and energy levels. Find activities you enjoy, whether it's going for a walk, practicing yoga, or hitting the gym. The key is to make physical activity a regular part of your routine. I have made it a goal to run on the beach 2-3x a week. The beautiful view and that ocean breeze makes exercise a bit more enjoyable. I also am starting dance classes to brush up on my skills!

🫧Set Boundaries🫧  

Learn to say no and establish boundaries to protect your time and energy. It's okay to prioritize yourself mermaid!  and decline commitments that may overwhelm you.

🫧Cultivate Hobbies🫧

   Make time for activities you're passionate about. Whether it's painting, playing an instrument, or gardening, engaging in hobbies can bring joy and a sense of accomplishment.

🫧Unplug and Disconnect🫧

   Take breaks from technology to reduce stress and improve focus. Set aside designated times to unplug from devices and enjoy the present moment.

🫧Practice Gratitude🫧

   A positive mindset can make a difference  and appreciating the good things in your life. Consider keeping a gratitude journal to reflect on the positive aspects each day.


Prioritizing self-care is not selfish; it's an investment in your overall well-being. By incorporating these practical tips into your routine, you can create a healthier and more fulfilling life. Remember, self-care is a journey, and finding what works best for you is a personal and ongoing process. Love yourself Mermaid!
